Placenta Recipes Week: Placenta Ointment

3/4 tsp placenta powder from your dried, ground placenta. If you had your placenta made into capsules, you can simply open several of the capsules and empty into recipe.
1 tsp carrier oil- almond, flax, safflower, avocado, etc.
1 1/2 Eucerin Aquaphor ointment

Heat the oil and the placenta powder to approx 120 degrees, then cool to 98.5 degrees. You can use a meat thermometer. If you didn't have your placenta made into capsules, you need to make sure the dried placenta that you use is ground a fine as possible before mixing with the oil. Mix with the Aquaphor ointment and let cool completely. Store in a jar. Can be kept for 3 weeks.

Placenta ointment can be used on a wide variety of skin conditions.
